Welcome.
 Our website has been designed to give prospective students and parents a flavour of our school and to give existing students and parents important and up-to-date information. It also acts as a showcase for many of the outstanding things that our talented students are involved in.
Westfield is a co-educational 11-16 school, with specialist science status, occupying a very attractive, south-facing site in the north of Yeovil. Our staff have high expectations of our young people. Our students enjoy an orderly learning environment, excellent relationships and high quality learning experiences. We aim to ensure that every student makes the most of outstanding opportunities to maximise their life chances.We are very proud of our school and reserve a warm welcome for visitors. I would encourage you to visit us on any normal school day – we would be very pleased to show you around and answer any questions you may have.

New facilities developed during 2009 include:
- a state-of-the art ICT media studio
- two newly refurbished Food Technology rooms
- development of a high quality restaurant
- a new, specialist ICT suite, developed in conjunction with AgustaWestland
- installation of a wireless network across much of the campus
- brand new changing room and gym facilities
