I am delighted to welcome you to the Westfield Community School web site. Our school is a medium sized 11-16 school occupying a pleasant site on the north side of Yeovil. We enjoy science college status with specialist subjects of science and maths. As a result of this a large number of our students go on to study maths and science-related courses post 16. Students achieved excellent exam results in 2008, with 55% gaining 5 or more A*-C grades and 49% achieving 5 or more A*-C grades including English and Maths. These results made Westfield one of only four schools in Somerset to beat the targets agreed with the local authority. In addition, a record number of students gained A* and A grades.
